National Monument

The National Monument is one of the main symbols of the city. This monument, also known as Monas is a 132-meter tower in Merdeka Square in the heart of Jakarta. This monument was built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence between 1961 and 1975. At the end of this tower, there is a gold-coloured fire shape and you can enjoy the view of the whole city from the top of this tower.

Istiqlal Mosque
